If yes, this opportunity might be for you Our Electrical, Controls and Energy Systems (EC&ES) team has direct impact on the design, selection, installation, programming, commissioning, and support of our Telemetry/SCADA, Control, Measurement, Data Collection, and Odorization Systems throughout Ontario.

In this role, you will be leading and managing the day-to-day operations of the EC&ES team, currently composed of approximately 10-12 employees and contractors located in the GTA, Niagara and Ottawa, in line with Enbridge’s values.

Apply today What You Will Do: Ensure timely team response to emergencies (Gas Control), projects, maintenance activities, and integration-driven initiatives.

Provide general project management and organizational support.

Build and maintain strong team relationships with various key internal and external partners.

Provide technical support and direction throughout GDS for EC&ES matters including station instrumentation, communication, cybersecurity, turboexpander operation, and odourization.

Represent the EC&ES team at industry-related committees and forums including formal codes and standard writing committees or industry task forces where telemetry is involved.

Participate in the evaluation of new products, tools and technologies.

Be an early adopter of new procedures, processes and technology.

Who You Are: You have the following education & experience: Related university degree and ten-plus years’ experience or previous field operations experience or equivalent mix of formal education and experience.

Experience with Project or Program Management in field or office settings.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Keen safety awareness and knowledge of safe work practices.

Strong understanding of the natural gas industry, including applicable codes, regulations, policies and procedures.

Previous experience with Telemetry, SCADA, instrumentation, cybersecurity, control centers and/or odourization.

Following will be the assets: Professional Engineering designation in Ontario.

Prior experience with leading teams, and with change management in general, is highly desired.

Working Conditions: This role is a mix of office & field based role.

Valid ‘G’ license & responsible driving record is required.
