High Profile Site Security Manager (Downtown Toronto)

Site Security Manager Job Introduction: This position description assumes that the individual has satisfied all basic requirements for employment by G4S Secure Solutions (Canada) Inc., including, but not limited to: criminal police information check (CPIC) credit reference, background check, minimum age, and minimum education (high school diploma or foreign equivalency, or earned GED).

Role Responsibility: The Site Security Manager oversees scheduling, workflow and the day to day operations and supervision of guarding teams at a high profile site.

This role acts as a liaison between assigned site management and staff.

Work with Client’s Corporate Security and Events Management to anticipate staffing needs; Interviewing potential candidates and vetting candidates for Security review; Performance monitoring, including random spot-checks to ensure tasks are performed according to outlined requirements; Performance metric reporting (KPIs), issues and improvement recommendations provided to client in an agreed upon format and schedule; Maintain Security Team personnel and payroll records; Securing uniforms and equipment for personnel; Disciplinary action as required; Ensuring program equipment is in place, properly inventoried, and serviceable.

Flexibility with schedule as required Any other duties as assigned The Ideal Candidate: Licensing : Security guard (must have) and private investigator (or able to obtain PI) Security management experience : Minimum of 3 years as a site security Manager in high-rise Class A buildings, high end hospitality property or similar environments, Knowledge of and experience with electronic security systems (e.g., access control, CCTV, intercoms, alarms) Education : Minimum 3-year college degree or University Degree or equivalent experience Previous law enforcement experience is an asset but not required Training: First responder training required (will be provided).
