Communications Manager

Wild Women Expeditions

This is a Full-time position in Etobicoke, ON posted July 16, 2021.

Wild Women Expeditions is seeking a passionate and creative writer and communications specialist to build increased awareness of our adventure programs and initiatives.

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to utilize your writing and communications skills in a meaningful role that supports thousands of women to take part in adventure travel and build increased readership and drive engagement in our online communities.

Responsibilities: Work closely with the program team and partners to curate content about our trips Ensure allocated work from creatives and designers are completed and ready for execution Manage day to day editorial production schedule across all platforms (Site, Instagram, Facebook, email marketing) Collaborate on the planning, development, and implementation of communications and PR activities Write promotional ad copy for digital channels: website, social media, email campaigns.

Produce sales copy for product launches and offerings Write client onboarding and orientation materials, global broadcasts and trip information packages Keep website, e-com, product and promotional copy fresh and up to date Update, quality check and proofread existing content.

Blog management, curation, and contribution Craft effective communications for client care Manage digital assets, including photo and video content to support storytelling Requirements: Demonstrated skills, knowledge, and experience in communications Creative with the ability to come up with inspiring campaign ideas and ways of social engagement Exceptional writing and organizational skills Canadian residents only Ability to relate positively to people from diverse backgrounds and professional levels Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with a remote team Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational and project management skills Hard-working, self-starter with high attention to detail and approaching tasks conscientiously Duration: This is a one year term position, with the opportunity to renew in a permanent role.

Compensation: Salary commensurate with knowledge, skills and experience.

Location: This is a virtual position, in our online office as part of a core team based across Canada.
