Position Description In this role you will sell a diverse range of Telecom, Datacom, Data Center and CCTV/Access Control/Pro AV products serving the Communications and Security Solutions (CSS) industry.

Service a variety of vertical markets to position and deliver these solutions and meet customer needs.

Actively participate and develop new accounts, generate sales quotes, and handle customer inquiries to service customers, grow business, and meet sales goals and targets.

Conduct cold and warm calls to uncover opportunities in new markets.

Provide superior customer service by listening to our customers and providing solutions to solve their needs.

Build strong customer relationships, loyalty, and increase retention.

Actively utilize Anixter colleagues and resources regularly to provide a complete customer solution to capitalize on opportunities.

Work effectively in a team based environment, and collaborate to accomplish organizational goals and to identify and resolve problems.

Sales skills are key, but also helps if you have: Autonomous worker while being part of a TEAM.

(i.e.: work from home if needed.) Excellent verbal, written, email and OFFICE TEAMS communication and Collaboration skills.

Strong Social Media skills (LinkedIn).

A confident and determined approach to succeed.

Resilience, adaptability, and the ability to cope with rejection.

Self-motivation and drive to excel and be competitive.
