Logistics Coordinator


This is a Contract position in Etobicoke, ON posted September 15, 2022.

Mold Masters is looking for a Logistics Coordinator join our team in Georgetown, Ontario.

Mold-Masters® is a world-leading supplier of hot runner technology and systems.

We design, manufacture, and support a full range of hot runner products that are used in the injection molding production of plastic products

· Using SAP, prepare all shipping documentation, customs papers and/or any other required paperwork in a very fast paced environment.

· Study shipping or shipping notice, requesting movement of materials and finished products to ensure proper information has been provided.

Advise requester of any information that is missing to eliminate potential customs issues;
· Confer and coordinate with appropriate department(s) to ensure smooth flow of product for shipping;
· Prioritize work procedures to meet various daily shipping schedules;
· Identify best routing option based on cost and service required;
· Liaise with supervisor to ensure proper scheduling of late/early pick-ups and deliveries;
·Recognize schedule of internal process in order to develop timely deliveries;
·Label shipments to ensure proper documentation;
·Stage shipments for delivery;
· Provide customs clearance information including freight factors and duty rates as required;
· Reviews/authorizes payments from affiliated brokers
·Ensure effective communication with customs brokers, freight forwarders and MML warehouse personnel;
·Work closely with the Finance department for wire transfer and letter of credit requests;
· Develop and maintain proper records as required;
· Make recommendations for productivity and/or method improvements; Basic Requirements:
