Every day more than 30,000 people use our ERP & CRM technology to make the world a better place.Thanks to unprecedented demand for our software solutions, we’re looking for a Software Quality Assurance and Escalation Specialist who’ll have plenty of autonomy and opportunities for growth.Software Quality Assurance and Escalation Specialist:As our Software Quality Assurance and Escalation Specialist, you’ll use your expertise to efficiently troubleshoot and remediate any product defects or critical customer issues.Our product portfolio includes products based in Microsoft Dynamics 365, as well as our web applications built with .NET using C# and Angular JS, so you’ll need to be comfortable with all of them. You’ll collaborate with the development team to understand how our customers use our solutions, and what their challenges in doing so are. You’ll help refine our quality assurance processes, reduce our defect escape rate, and improve our product support SLAs by expediting our team’s analysis and resolution of escalated issues.Practically speaking, you will:* Ensure that new software functions effectively according to design specifications and customer requirements* Validate new features to ensure correctness, robustness, stability, and security* Investigate and diagnose high complexity customer issues in a timely manner* Professionally represent Sparkrock in all customer interactions* Understand our current solutions and improve them, delivering customer-focused features and capabilities* Improve our product support SLAs by expediting the development team’s analysis and resolution of escalated issuesYou’ll also be a great fit for this role if you have excellent verbal and written communication skills, are comfortable in a client-facing role, and excel in replicating technical issues in a development environment.If you’re excited for an abundance of learning opportunities and using cutting edge technology in the Microsoft stack, we want to hear from you!Qualifications:* Experience with software quality assurance, preferably for products using either the Microsoft Dynamics or the Azure stack* Significant experience with business-oriented software quality assurance* Experience creating, executing, and refining product test strategies and plans* Experience in a customer facing roles, assisting customers in resolving escalated issues* Post-secondary degree or diploma in Engineering, Information Science, or Computer Science would be an asset* Experience with Enterprise resource planning (ERP) and/or accounting solutions would be an assetWorking with Sparkrock:You’ll earn a highly competitive base salary commensurate with experience, along with a performance-based bonus, health benefits, 3 weeks’ paid vacation, and an annual education development budget.You’ll also enjoy workplace benefits like our free organic fruit delivery.
