Support Analyst (HR and Payroll)

Every day nearly 45,000 people use our ERP & CRM technology to make the world a better place.Now, we’re looking for a new Support Analyst (HR and Payroll) to join us during an exciting phase in our growth.   In this role, you’ll bridge our support and engineering teams by talking directly to customers, diagnosing issues and bugs, and providing fixes or escalating issues when necessary. Since our product engineering team works on new, major releases, your role will be to ensure our existing software is optimized and bug-free, while keeping customers satisfied with quick resolutions of their technical issues. Practically speaking, you will:* Support the Human Resource/Payroll application module of our ERP system using our email ticketing system and prioritizing urgent tickets* Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques, ask customers pertinent questions, and determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers* Effectively walk the customer through the problem-solving process* Direct any unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel/escalate as needed* Provide accurate information to customers on Sparkrock solutions or services* Record and log events and problems and their resolution in our internal CRM* Follow-up and update customer status and information as needed* Share any feedback or suggestions from customers to the appropriate internal team or through our IDEA portal* Identify and suggest possible improvements on our procedures* Assist with updating customer environments and troubleshooting integration to 3rd-party tools* Create and maintain internal and external training material such as documentation, videos and knowledge base articlesIf you’ve built a career in HR/payroll consulting and are looking for an opportunity to scale back from consulting to support and maintain existing clients, this could be a great fit for you. You’ll find you’re doing your best work – driven by genuine care for our customers, employees, and business – it’s easy to care about helping people who are making a difference!Qualifications:* Experience working in a human resources/payroll department operating various HR and payroll tasks and activities* Strong knowledge of and experience with troubleshooting ERP and CRM systems and supporting various applications on these systems* Knowledge of MS Dynamics NAV/Business Central (D365)* Strong proficiency with MS Office (Project, OneNote, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.)* Post-secondary degree or diploma in human resources, payroll, or any other related field* Any of the following certifications would be an asset: CPC, CPM, CHRL, or CHRP* Any experience with HCM Software or HR Application consulting (an asset)* Experience using Jet reports or any other reporting tool (an asset)* Experience implementing software solutions (an asset)* Experience working in the education, non-profit, or public sector industry (an asset)How to Apply:Our online application will give you the option to apply to this role as a complete person – not just a resume.
